Segment 1 and 2 Widening and Reconstruction (Rialto Avenue to to I-259), San
Bernardino, California: Design engineer responsible for drainage, storm water
quality treatment facilities, signing and striping on the $75 million freeway
widening and realignment project. This project consists of widening and
reconstructing the existing six-lane freeway to accommodate the addition of
HOV and mixed-flow lanes, with an ultimate 10-lane configuration. This
includes new and widened bridges to accommodate the wider freeway design. The
widening impacts the existing drainage system of culverts and open channels.
Drainage facilities will be brought up to current standards and includes
onsite drainage systems, as well as offsite drainage. Prepared
hydrology/hydraulic calculations and reports, drainage plans, profiles and
details, roadway sign plans, details and quantity sheets for both drainage
and sign plans. Perris Blvd
Widening, Moreno Valley, California: Project Engineer and Manager, design and
coordinate Preliminary Design/Project Report, Final PS & E, Construction
Support for this multi-segments street widening project, includes new
pavements, sidewalks, curb and gutter, new traffic signal, traffic signal interconnection,
storm drain laterals and interim drainage system improvements on Perris
Boulevard from Cactus Avenue to the south City Limits. Also coordinate with
City of Perris for completion of planning of their portion of Perris
Boulevard project. The street and sidewalk improvements have a total length
of approximately 2 miles. The new roadway re-striping
is approximately 3.5 miles long. Prepare drainage study, project report,
traffic study and environmental reports, and provide storm drain designs to
get RCFC&WCD encroachment permit approval. Work with sub-consultants and
City agents as a team to provide all required right-of-way services, prepare
legal documents and exhibits to complete the necessary right-of-way
acquisition process, include the relocation of 5 units in a mobile home park
to acquire the necessary ultimate
right-of-way. Also provide necessary environmental clearance and studies to
comply with the City and State/Federal regulations in order to receive
construction clearance to obtain TUMF funding. One major task is the approval
and completion of the SCE power pole relocation along Perris Boulevard. is
also accomplished. Ironwood
Avenue Street Reconstruction and Sidewalk, Moreno Valley, California: Project engineer
to design 2,600 feet of roadway widening, re-profiling and reconstruction to
from 2 lanes to 4 lanes from Heacock Street to Perris Boulevard. Highway was
funded by Local Assistance Program; project included installing 1,100 feet of
sidewalk and reconstructing access ramps and driveway approaches; and
preparing traffic control plans and PS&E. Also design the improvements to
reconstruct the existing roadway sections of Ironwood Avenue from Pigeon Pass
Road to Graham Street comprising a total length of approximately 2660 feet,
with sidewalks east of Graham Street along the south side for a total length
of approximately 1000 feet. All The projects upgraded curb ramps and driveway
approaches to bring them into conformance with ADA and current city
standards. Paul provided and submitted all required forms and documentation
to Caltrans in accordance with the local assistance procedures manual. Pacific
Avenue and Rubidoux Area Street Improvement, Sidewalk and Storm Drain,
Rubidoux, California: Project engineer, design a new storm drain system
along Pacific Avenue from 45th Street to Rustic lane, responsible for
designing 18,000 feet of road re-profiling, widening, sidewalks and 3,600
feet of storm drain and drainage facilities for old residential area and
collector streets, coordinate with waterlines and utility relocation project.
Prepared street light location design, utility coordination, right-of-way,
hydrology/hydraulic calculations, and PS&E. AECOM has also been retained
by the County of Riverside to perform design for new street widening and
construction of street improvements along Pacific Avenue from Mission Blvd to
Limonite Avenue, and also two complete phases of design and construction of
street widening, sidewalk, utility relocation for more than 20 residential
street in Rubidoux Area 3. Indian
Detention Basin, Moreno Valley, California: Project engineer. Designed the
street widening, new traffic signal, street lights, installed storm drain
mainlines and laterals, and sidewalk improvements on Ironwood Avenue from
Heacock Street to Nita Street. The street and sidewalk improvements have a
total length of approximately 1,900 feet and the storm drain has mainlines
approximately 3,800 feet long. Assist drainage engineer to prepare drainage
study, reports, calculations, environmental assessments, basin inlet
improvements and alternatives for storm drain designs for RCFC&WCD
approval. Palo
Verde Storm Drain, Montclair, California: Project engineer responsible for
designing 5,600 feet of storm drain, drainage laterals extensions including
freeway on ramp drainage connections, residential area connections and outlet
structure to regional basin. Also design re-connection of the utility brine
